the Temple’s Lineage:

This temple is founded upon and deeply rooted in the 13 Moon Mystery School—a Celtic/Avalonian lineage.

However, we recognize we’re one of many surviving priestess lineages from around the world.

We acknowledge the incredible, timely importance of priestess sisters coming together from diverse temple lineages.

We actively seek to weave together a plethora of voices—especially with our sisters of color.

As a temple, we further commit to recognizing and neutralizing the privileges provided by systemic racism, white supremacy, and institutional/cultural imperialism, while alchemizing the truth that we, too, are all One—without spiritual bypassing.

Elayne Kalila came into my purview when I saw her on the shift network doing a special on Mary Magdalene. I instantly knew she was my teacher. I came in with years of meditation and other spiritual practices and teachers, but I felt ungrounded and I hadn’t felt held so I couldn’t explore the depths of my soul. And that’s what we do in the Ruby circle.

Each year Elayne Kalila mentors a small group of women, women who are daring women who are ready to be vulnerable and do the deep work. Women who are ready to look at their shadow and celebrate each other in sisterhood and support one another. I think that Elaine’s 20 plus years of being a therapist has catapulted this group to something I have never known. I’ve never been able to go as deep as I go in this circle.

I’ve never known myself to step into the light the way I am daring to because I am held by equals who mirror me at every turn. It has been an incredible privilege to be part of this circle. My year in ETM has been nothing short of revolutionary.

After working as a private practice therapist for years, I knew I was badly burned out. What I didn’t know was that I was soul-sick. There was not enough of ‘ME’ left in my work and not enough freedom in my lensing to even find my way out.

The biggest transformation in ETM that I’ve had so far is a deepening remembrance and connection to who I am and the sacred feminine within. This has led to shifts in the ways I see and experience my everyday life. It’s as if I have a new lens that I am seeing through. Michelle Long, MA, is the founder of The Practice® for Women, a sacred business that supports women as they step more into their truth and claim the life they desire. Michelle has been a teacher of feminine spirituality, yoga, and women’s leadership since 2002. Hi, I’m Flora

I’m a self-professed bon vivant. I live life to the fullest, love deeply, laugh out loud, and put my heart and soul into all that I do. I love being creative, traveling, and eating anything covered in pesto.

Born in British Columbia, Canada, I grew up surrounded by nature, music, and lots of love. My spiritual journey started young. I attended my first full moon women’s circle at 14. That set me on a path of living my life attuned to cyclic earth and lunar rhythms. At age 15 I was reading Siddhartha, The Prophet, The Power of Myth, and The Spiral Dance.

Throughout my 20’s I continued my deep soul searching to understand myself, human consciousness and the meaning of life.

My spiritual longing and wanderlust took me around the world. I went to Colorado to study sound healing with Jonathan Goldman, and braved the conditions four times to immerse myself in the radical art community of Burning Man in Nevada. I visited volcanic power centres in Guatemala and danced at full moon beach parties in Thailand. I practiced Kundalini yoga and also performed with my band, singing in front of thousands of people.

Despite all this exploration, when I turned 30 I was still unsatisfied with my life. From the outside, I had things pretty good: a nice house and boyfriend, a decent job and even regular music gigs on the side.

I felt guilty for wanting more. I constantly wondered, “What’s wrong with me?”

As a Circle Priestess, Leadership Mentor, and Sacred Business Coach, I inspire women to awaken to their potential, embody their wisdom, and step into their power to create a life and work they love. All temple sessions are offered on live stream video via your computer on an application called Zoom. These sessions are recorded so that if you cannot attend live, you can access the recording anytime. During the live temple sessions you are able to raise your hand and be called to share live on video and also ask questions via the live chat.
This is a private Facebook group that is only for members of the Enter the Mystery Initiation Circle. You will be able to meet and dialogue with your sisters all over the world. Elayne Kalila will be an active member of this group, so you can ask questions and garner her support in this forum as well.
Our usual class schedule will be Tuesday at noon PST. There will be some weeks where we will shift this schedule to accommodate the times we have deepening practices. During those weeks, we will not meet live so that you can truly integrate your practices. We will have some breaks that are designated as “Alchemical Integration” time. The program will run Jan–Dec 2024 ( 12 Months)

REPARATIONS

The Priestess Presence Temple & School of Sacred Arts is located on the unceded and traditional territory of the Nisenan Tribe.

We honor this ancestral land and its original people. We give thanks for our ability to hold the space for this temple on their sacred land.

The area of Nevada City, California, where the temple resides, was repeatedly taken from the Nisenan people, without compensation or regard for the lives of the original people; and now, they have no land left.

The temple acknowledges it is on the ancestral homelands of the Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan Tribe. The Temple acknowledges we are settlers here—that we live, love, and work on land the Nisenan never ceded.

In order to help amend the tragic legacy, the temple provides a monthly contribution to recognize the sovereignty of the Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan and acknowledge their historic relationship with this land, their ancestral homelands. We give to CHIRP—CALIFORNIA HERITAGE: INDIGENOUS RESEARCH PROJECT. It was created to research, document, preserve, and protect California Indigenous Nisenan culture.

We are committed to translating spiritual concepts into devoted service and walking our talk.

The temple commits to being an anti-racist, inclusive space that honors all diversity. This includes: looking at and dismantling our privilege in all aspects of systemic racism, white supremacy, institutional/cultural imperialism, while alchemizing the truth that we, too, are One (without bypassing).

As such, we feel it’s crucial to be informed on the past and ongoing consequences of colonialism.

We encourage everyone to learn about the history of the lands they’re on and support Indigenous resistance here and across Turtle Island.
